Ms Macdonald is a distinguished expert in the field of osteopathy, healthcare education, and research, with her experience spanning clinical practice, academic leadership, and consulting. As the owner and leader of Osteopathie Seebach GmbH, Ms Macdonald is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art osteopathic care while fostering a holistic, patient-centred approach to health and well-being to patients of all backgrounds.
Previously, Ms Macdonald served as the Degree Co-Director of the BSc & MSc in Osteopathy at the Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS), where she played a pivotal role in developing and executing an innovative curriculum for osteopathy students, fostering critical thinking and self-development among future healthcare professionals. Her work at the FFHS laid the foundation for the future in osteopathic education in the German speaking part of Switzerland.
Her professional journey is marked by a passion for advancing healthcare for patients through a bio-psycho-social approach, which she was able to develop at Osteopathie Central. She has specific expertise in chronic pain management, women's health, and quantitative research methods. She integrates a wide range of intervention techniques to address both acute and long-term conditions and is looking forward to welcome you in Zurich Seebach.
