Osteopathic Health Care
Osteopathy is a primary health care profession which is regulated under the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) since 2020. Osteopathy integrates not only the physical, but also the psychological and social dimensions of health, recognizing that health and well-being are influenced by a range of interconnected factors beyond mere physical symptoms.
By acknowledging how lifestyle, stress, and social factors may contribute to a patient's condition, osteopaths are able to guide patients in lifestyle modifications, provide them with exercises or work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support the patient's overall well-being. With its rigorous standards and holistic perspective, osteopathy offers a valuable complement to conventional treatments, focusing on the interconnectedness of body systems and fostering a proactive approach to health management.
Osteopathy is suitable for people of all ages - newborns, children and adults - and all physical conditions. For specialisations such as paediatrics (treatment of children and newborns) or women's health (such as pregnancy or menstrual pain), there are postgraduate courses that provide the necessary knowledge to ensure that patients are treated safely, appropriately and respectfully. At this point we would like to mention that we do not currently treat children under the age of 12.
Osteopathic clinicans at Osteopathie Seebach use a wide array of different interventions to help their patients achieve their personal goals. You can learn more about the different approaches and techniques we use here.
We are looking forward to welcome you in our clinic and discuss how you would like to improve your health.
